Depicted is a cross section through the centrosome: CP91 resides in the inner core layer as two distinguishable layers (darker yellow) and in close proximity to Cep192 (blue), which is located in the outer core layers. CP39 (yellow) also locates in the inner core layer. CDK5RAP2 (green) is a protein closely associated with the core structure and locates in the corona together with CP224 (red).
