Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the effects of selected cannabinoids in rat organotypic hippocampal slices exposed to OGD. (E) THC, the psychoactive constituent of Cannabis, significantly exacerbated the neurotoxic effects induced by OGD at the concentration of 1 µM. CBD significantly attenuated CA1 injury with the maximal effect at 10 µM, and CBG had no effect.
