Size of precursor mass range affects DIA identification. (a) In the Arabidopsis precursor library, most of the precursors are distributed across the mass-to-charge range of 400–700 (~62%). The size of precursor m/z ranges from 150 (m/z) to 800 (m/z) with a step-up of 50 (m/z) was systematically assessed for DIA–MS analysis. The experiment was conducted in duplicate. (b) The scatter plot shows that the number of precursors identified increases with the size of the precursor mass range selection.
