Radiotherapy induces PD-1 expression in NK cells via upregulation of NF-κB. NK cells were incubated with the NF-κB inhibitor BMS-345541 for 1 h before radiation. Expression of NF-κB, PD-L1 and PD-1 was analyzed by flow cytometry. (A) Histogram plots of PD-1 and NF-κB expression on NK cells. Quantification of PD-1 (B) NF-κB (C) expression on NK cells. Quantitative data of three independent experiments is shown as normalized mean fluorescence intensity (MFI).
