The effect of TV–bacteria interactions on the growth of specific bacteria enriched from microbiome analysis. TV (5 × 105 cells/mL) was co-cultured with L. iners (A) and GBS (B) at a ratio of 1:10 in 1 mL of KSFM medium and the microbial culture was incubated at 37 °C for 1, 2, 4, 6 h. The growth of L. iners and GBS was observed after plating out the culture on blood agar plates for 24 h at 37 °C, followed by CFU counting.
