A “cam” type is when the impingement’s cause is a not perfectly spherical femoral head which causes abrasion of the acetabular cup when the aspheric portion engages the acetabular rim. The concordance in diagnosis in this case was high due to the presence of a “cam” type conflict on the left, while on the right a moderate to low concordance was obtained.
