TF-1 (a), HNT-34 (b), and KG-1 (c) cells were transduced with lentiviral vectors expressing shRNAs targeting MTSS1 (shMTSS1_1, shMTSS1_2) or a non-targeting control shRNA (shCtrl). Downregulation of MTSS1 was validated by immunoblot analysis. Cells were incubated with the indicated concentrations of araC for 2 days or of DNR for 1 day, and stained with AnnexinV. AnnexinV cells were considered viable, and AnnexinV+ cells apoptotic. Left panels, representative immunoblots; middle panels, quantifications of immunoblots; right panels, AnnexinV assays.
