Gender was significantly associated with depression (β = 0.08, p < 0.01) and anxiety (β = 0.08, p < 0.01). Age was significantly associated with depression (β = −0.09, p < 0.05) and anxiety (β = −0.07, p < 0.01). Education level was significantly associated with depression (β = −0.05, p < 0.01). Smoking was significantly associated with depression (β = 0.04, p < 0.01) and anxiety (β = 0.04, p < 0.01).
