Schematic representation of the CUL3 gene and its 20 exons. Eleven different pathogenic variants were found in 13 families. All CUL3 variants are located in regions affecting splicing of exon 9 and causing deletion of CUL3 exon 9 encoding a 57–amino acid sequence. Variants not previously described are highlighted in bold.
