Schematic overview of the network reconstruction approach. In our approach, we first selected all single-cell samples from each group (red, blue, turquoise – here cell samples taken from the same individual). Next, data points are randomly sampled and ordered sequentially to create a series of pseudo-time-points for each group. This time series was then used for the reconstruction of Boolean network ensembles. The approach results in a set of Boolean network ensembles – one for each selected group.
