The T-maps show the hypo-metabolism (cold) and hyper-metabolism (hot colors). The glucose metabolism increased in the left hippocampal region, and decreased in the extensive bilateral prefrontal cortex, bilateral parietal, and limited left temporal cortex. The SPM T-maps were projected onto surface, rendering and axial views of an MNI 152 template.
