(A and B) Huh7.5 cells were infected with HCV Jc1 for 4 h. Following this, the culture medium was replaced with fresh medium in the presence of the indicated drugs. At 48 h posttreatment, viral proteins were detected by an immunoblot assay using the indicated antibodies. (C) Huh7.5 cells infected with HCV Jc1 were treated with various concentrations of asunaprevir. At 48 h postinfection, total RNA was extracted and the IC₅₀ value was determined on the basis of HCV RNA levels measured by qRT-PCR.
