Demographics for the full cohort, as well as those with completed diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and MR spectroscopy (MRS), expressed as number and proportion, mean ± standard deviation, or median and intraquartile range (IQR). The neonatal encephalopathy score gives one point for each sign of abnormal feeding, alertness, tone, respiratory status, reflexes, and seizures. The highest score in the first 3 days of life is reported.21.
