Recording/broadcasting modalities

Pre-recorded content e-Posters E-Posters presentations allowed zoom-ins of preselected areas of the poster for easier discovery of image content. Presenters had the option of recording a 3-min commentary of their poster through an upload wizard.
System-assisted presentations (abstracts) Presenters uploaded the presentation with voiceover. Length of the presentation and the number of slides checked via robot-assisted wizard.
Technician-assisted presentation (pre-arranged scientific/educational content) Technician ensuring proper sound, image, and the length of the presentation.
Pre-recorded sessions Online set-up to recreate the traditional session format focusing on interaction between faculty. Technician-assisted with suppliers managing speakers, slides, and editing the final video for dissemination.
Green-screen filming Presenters were asked to welcome a camera crew which came to their home or place of work to record their presentations on a green screen background. Subsequently, the recording was embedded in a live studio transmission from the virtual 3D studio in Amsterdam.
Real-time produced content (live) Commentaries and Q&A of hot-line trials, daily wrap-ups Live broadcasting in a green screen studio in Amsterdam and image embedded in the virtual 3D studio.
