Standardized mortality ratios (SMRs) for cardiovascular disease (CVD) adjusted by age, sex and calendar-year in CNS tumor and by malignancy and main histological subtypes. SMRs for subtypes within cause of CVD (disease of heart and cerebrovascular disease) were presented. A SMR above 1 represents a higher relative risk of death for a type of cardiovascular cause compared with the general population.
