PCR genotyping of blastocysts and embryos resulting from muREC2/RAD51L1 interbreeding. DNA were extracted from blastocysts and embryos ranging from E4.5 to E13.5. PCRs were performed with probes E2F, E2R, and IRES4 (see Materials and Methods). Wild-type samples (+/+) produced only one 118-bp band, homozygous samples (−/−) produced one 208-bp band, while heterozygous samples (+/−) generated both bands. The marker lane contains a 1-kb DNA ladder.
