Concentrations of Lactobacillus crispatus CTV-05 in participants diagnosed with or without bacterial vaginosis (BV) at (A) week 12 and (B) week 24 of the phase 2b trial. QPCR values were plotted separately for women with and without a positive BV diagnosis at weeks 12 and 24. A positive BV diagnosis was defined as both a positive Amsel test (≥3 Amsel criteria) and Nugent score >3. Values above 10⁶ colony-forming units (CFU)/mL appeared to protect women from BV recurrence. Significance of difference between groups was determined by the Mann-Whitney 2-tailed test in Prism Version 8.4.2.
