(A) The center of the tibial plateau was found on the axial images, on the corresponding sagittal view the shaft was marked at 2 points (center of red circles), and a connecting line (vertical yellow line) was used to define the tibial axis. The linked sagittal (left) image was then scrolled until it was centered over the respective plateau on the axial (right) view. (B) The lateral and (C) medial tibial plateau slopes were measured on the sagittal view with a line drawn between 2 points based at the tip of the subchondral bone (as shown in B and C above) or cartilage (depending on the desired measurement).
