B cells in the synovium of RA. LTα and LTβ secreted by B cells are very important for maintaining the aggregated T cell and B cell infiltrate in the synovial tissue of RA patients. FcRL4+B cells, CD27+IgD-B cells and CD21-/low B cells are prone to produce RANKL, which are pathogenic B cells in the synovium of RA patients.
