A standardized method of arthritis scoring was used to evaluate the degree of swelling and erythema of all four paws. The motility pattern, stair climbing, and pain were scored as described in the methods section. ^#^#^# p<0.005 compared to control; ^* p<0.05 compared to RA animal, BSE 40 and BSE 80, Boswellin Super Extract 40 and 80mg/kg; CXB, celecoxib 10mg/kg; and RA, CIA control.
