Effect of XG on eosinophils infiltration. Eosinophils count was increased in AR-mice (G) compared to the sham groups (A–F, histological score N). XG single treatments (H,I, histological score N) considerably reduced eosinophils infiltration with comparable efficacy to the to the antihistamine (K, histological score N) and mast-cell stabilizer (J, histological score N) treatments. Moreover, XG and antihistamine co-administration (L, histological score N) proved to decrease eosinophils infiltration, analogously to corticosteroid treatment (M, histological score N).
