FIG 12

Schematic model depicting the formation of RV viroplasms via microtubule-based dynein transport. The dynein intermediate chain (DIC) is located in the RV viroplasms, where the DIC interacts with NSP2. RV viroplasms utilize the interaction to move along microtubules (MTs). The movement of viroplasms not only causes two viroplasms to fuse into a single viroplasm but also increases the ability of viroplasms to assemble DLPs. DLC, dynein light chain; DLIC, dynein light intermediate chain; DHC, dynein heavy chain.
