Group differences were large for treatment/health and life-threatening stressors (effect sizes: >.8); moderate for housing, work, marital/partner, and other relationship stressors (effect sizes: .5 to .8); small for education, reproductive, and legal/crime stressors (effect sizes: .2 to .5); and negligible for financial, death/bereavement, and possessions stressors (effect sizes: < .2).
