Structure of the RISE LC (Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness Learning Collaborative). The structure of the RISE LC was adapted from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Breakthrough Series incorporating features of the learning network. Faculty and participants met in person and selected topics and developed change strategies during Learning Session One. Participants then return to home institutions to tests out change through a series of plan‐do‐study‐act (PDSA) cycles during the action period. Subsequent learning sessions were webinars structured to review results of previous PDSA cycles and set test of change for the next action period.
