Between-group differences in task-related activations. (A) Patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD; cyan) and patients with major depressive disorder (MDD; blue) showed overlapping decreased activations in comparison to healthy controls (HCs) during emotion regulation in the right ventrolateral prefrontal cortex (vlPFC; red circle).
