a. Severe deformity of the upper extremity in an 8-year-old patient with OI type III. Double osteotomy of the humerus and telescopic rodding was planned plus a double corrective radius and ulna osteotomy with a K-wire fixation inserted from opposite sides through the growth plates, thus allowing for telescoping.
b. Postoperative follow-up at 5 years. The amount of telescoping of the nail in the humerus corresponds with length without K-wire in radius and ulna due to growth.
