Odorant responses of GA-sensitive neurons are unaffected in Cyp4p1¹ and Cyp6a8¹ mutants. (a) Responses to odors that activate the ab5A neuron, geranyl acetate (0.1%) and citral (0.1%), are similar in Cyp4p1¹ and Cyp6a8¹ mutants as in controls. Bar graphs depict the mean ± SEM overlaid with the individual data points. Data analyzed with two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post-hoc tests (n = 8–17 sensilla each, p > 0.05 for all comparisons). The EC₅₀s were not significantly different between the three genotypes (control 0.029% ± 0.008, Cyp4p1¹ 0.034% ± 0.013%, Cyp6a8¹ 0.031% ± 0.010%, one-way ANOVA, n = 8–15 sensilla each).
