Participants chose the drawing numbers that best matched their current and their ideal body sizes from 1 (smallest) to 8 (largest), and body image self-discrepancy was defined by current – ideal body image >1. OR, odds ratio; 95%CI, 95% confidence interval. Physical symptoms include headache, stomachache, and sleepiness. Psychological symptoms include fatigue and depressive mood. Self-esteem, physical symptoms, and psychological symptoms are tested by total scores.
