Effect of AR-V7 knockdown on cell proliferation and PSA production in LNCaP-LA and VCAP cells. (A) Mock transfected cells or cells transfected with AR siRNA, AR-V7 siRNA or negative control siRNA were incubated for 48 h before harvesting for western blotting. (B) After transfection, cells were cultured in a medium supplemented with 10% CS-FBS. After 144 h, the number of viable cells was evaluated using an MTS assay.
