Quercetin and 5-fluorouracil decreased gene expression of Matrix metalloproteinase-2 and Matrix metalloproteinase-9 alone and in combination. (A) Expression of Matrix metalloproteinase-2 gene was evaluated in MDA-MB-231 untreated control, treated with Quercetin(50 μM), 5-fluorouracil (25 μM), and the combination of Quercetin plus 5-fluorouracil using quantitative Real-time PCR. (B) Expression of Matrix metalloproteinase-9 gene was evaluated in MDA-MB-231 untreated control, treated with Quercetin(50 μM), 5-fluorouracil (25 μM), and the combination of Quercetin plus 5-fluorouracil using quantitative Real-time PCR. .
