Relative peptide abundance in each sample, calculated from the total signal intensity, shown for the initial 15mer peptides and the produced 7 to 14mers, for both enzyme concentrations used. Control reaction was performed by incubating the peptides in the absence of enzyme. The small percentages of 7 to 14mers identified in the control reaction are likely contaminants because of incomplete synthesis of the 15mer peptide pool and were not further interpreted.
