Model of the TBC1D10C’s role in macrophages. We propose, according to our results, that TBC1D10C is a functional linker for the cytoskeleton-plasma membrane (possibly contributing the N-terminal IDR of TBC1D10C), to cytoskeleton-plasma membrane tension and reorganization for cellular processes such as cell spreading, morphology, and phagocytosis.
