In vivo comparison of two luciferase-expressing constructs in C. glabrata in the bladder. (A) BLI of infected bladders with either the pTEF1-CgLUC construct or the pENO1-CgLUC construct. (B) BLI in the bladder for the two constructs. Seventeen mice for each group were infected with 2.5 × 10⁸ C. glabrata cells directly into the bladder. Luminescence in the bladders was measured on day three post infection. A statistically significant, higher luminescence can be observed in mice infected with C. glabrata containing pTEF1-CgLUC (unpaired t-test, p = 0.075).
