The miR-124 probe was labeled with donkey anti-sheep Alexa Fluor 555 (red), the glutamate synthetase (GS) was labeled with chicken anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor 488 (green), and the nuclei were labeled with DRAQ5^TM (blue). A section from the SD retina probed with the control miRNA probe (CTL-RNA probe) served as a negative control (a).
