Not included in the table are the five mice captured in April 1998, of which three were PCR positive for the HGE agent. Serum was available for two of these mice. Antibodies to B. burgdorferi were detected in two mice, antibodies to B. microti were detected in one mouse, and antibodies to the NCH-1 strain of the HGE agent were detected in one mouse.
