Brown Norway rats were dosed unilaterally with (a) SunitiGel once every 7 days for 21 d (total 4 topical doses) or (b) untreated. One day later, the eyes (n = 3) were enucleated for sectioning and staining. Hemotoxylin and eosin stained sections of the cornea (top) and retina (bottom) were indistinguishable between groups.
