Monthly breakdown of EVALI cases in the study. The slight majority of EVALI cases (81 of 160) occurred during the height of the EVALI outbreak from August 1, 2019, through October 31, 2019. However, 24 cases (15%) have been diagnosed after March 1, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. EVALI = e-cigarette or vaping-induced lung injury.
