The frequency of individual cases of AEs organized by reaction groups, as reported in the EudraVigilance database, was calculated by normalizing the number of individual cases with the vaccine doses administered in Europe. SAEs (A) and SAE-related deaths (B) are reported. For focusing on life-threatening events, reaction groups with >2 deaths/OMD (the mean between ChA and AD26 recipients) are reported, except for “surgical and medical procedures” and “general disorders and administration site conditions”, which mainly refer to the vaccine inflammatory response. “Renal and urinary disorders” and “immune system disorder” are also reported despite the occurrence of <2 deaths/OMD (the mean between ChA and AD26 recipients).
