Conformation of yeast to hyphae inhibition by catechol on solid spider media. The fungal colonies were imaged after 5 days of incubation at 37° C. Colonies without catechol were bare the deep hyphal protrusion with irregular cell morphology whereas, colonies treated with catechol displayed a non-filamentous and very smooth topography.
