Ribonucleic acid sequencing (RNAseq) and quantitative real-time (qRT)-PCR expression data of Capsicum MYBs at the early green (EG), mature green (MG), and breaker (Br) fruit development stages. (A) Normalized FPKM expression of C. chinense MYBs and their C. annuum homologs by RNAseq, and (B) relative expression of 24 CcMYB genes and capsaicinoid biosynthesis pathway genes (AT3, KasI, pAMT, ACS1, BCAT, and COMT) between C. chinense (Bhut Jolokia; Acc-Cc74) and C. annuum (Acc-Ca18) by qRT-PCR in the three fruit developmental stages and correlation between RNAseq and qRT-PCR expression data.
