CVB3 bind to S. enterica and E. coli. We incubated 105 PFU of CVB3 with 109 CFU of either S. enterica or E. coli at 37°C for 1 h. After incubation, samples were spun down and washed to remove unbound virus. Bound virus was quantified by plaque assay on HeLa cells (A) and qRT-PCR (B).
