Participants Inclusion: women with breast cancer whose breast size and/or ptosis, made it possible to consider either conventional surgical treatment or oncoplastic surgery as a first‐line treatment
Exclusion:
  • Inflammatory carcinomas (4)

  • Locally advanced tumours for which neoadjuvant chemotherapy was indicated (15)

  • Tumours requiring an immediate mastectomy (20)

  • Patients with local recurrence after conservative treatment (10)

  • Patients for whom the breast morphology did not allow oncoplastic surgery (9)
