Average values and SD were calculated (n = 10). (f, g) BMH-21 treatment does not affect the nucleolar localization of nucleolin and fibrillarin in ATP-depleted cells. HeLa cells expressing either EGFP-nucleolin (f) or EGFP-fibrillarin (g) were incubated with 25 mM 2DG/10 µM CCCP for 20 min and subsequently treated with 2 µM BMH-21 for 5 min in the presence of 2DG/CCCP.
