QCFD, flow rate derived from computational fluid dynamics (CFD); QAM, flow rate estimated from analytical model (AM); Ap, lumen area at the proximal end of the coronary lesions; As, lumen area at the maximally stenosed segment; Ad, lumen area at the distal end of the coronary lesions; L, lesion length; Lps, length of the segment from the proximal end of the coronary lesion to the proximal end of the maximally stenosed segment; Lsd, length of the segment from the distal end of the maximally stenosed segment to the distal end of the coronary lesion; α, flow entrance angle at the distal end of the proximal contracting segment; β, flow exit angle at the proximal end of the distal expanding segment; Pps, pressure drop due to the contraction of the lumen area at the proximal contracting segment; Psd, pressure drop due to the expansion of lumen area at the distal expanding segment; Pss, pressure drop along the straight maximally stenosed segment.
