Nephrotoxicity in rats was induced by a single dose of Cisplatin (6 mg/kg bw, IP) and Gallic acid (50 mg/kg bw, gavage) administered 5 days prior to CP treatment and continued till the end of the experiment (5 days). ^∗∗∗∗P < 0.0001; values are expressed as mean ± SD (n = 6). The results show that Gallic acid attenuated Cisplatin-induced renal toxicity.
