Interference with PKN2 reverses the effect of overexpression of PAX8-AS1 on cell proliferation and apoptosis. Note. (a) The expression of PKN2 in PTC K1 cells in vector, PAX8-AS1, and PAX8-AS1+sh-PKN2 groups was detected by qRT-PCR and western blotting; (b) the optical density values at 490 nm at 24, 48, and 72 h in PTC K1 cells in the above three groups were detected by MTT assay; (c) cell proliferation of PTC K1 cells in the above three groups was examined by EdU assay; (d) flow cytometry was used to analyze the scatter patterns of cell cycle distribution of K1 cells in the above three groups; (e) the protein bands of apoptosis-related proteins in K1 cells in the above three groups were detected by western blot.
