Decolourisation of organic dyes with pLac Gy with and without ABTS as redox mediator. Assay mixture included 1 µM pLac Gy , 1 mM ABTS, 50 µM CuCl2, 0.05 mg/ml organic dye in 0.04 M Britton-Robinson buffer (pH 5.0). The mixture was incubated for 18 h at 60°C with shaking at 500 rpm. All experiments were conducted in triplicates and error bars represent standard deviations.
