In vitro image system (IVIS) imaging shows that treatment of 48-hour-old mouse chronic wounds, infected with bioluminescent P. aeruginosa, with α-amylase and cellulase (glycoside hydrolase treatment), resulted in systemic spread of the infection (bottom panles).
