The local standard deviation of the DWI signal in the SH-basis in plane (SDx, SDy) and through-plane (SDz) by harmonic order of the original data after reconstruction (a) and the subject-wise change after destriping (pre-post) in anatomical space (AS) and source space (SS). The through-plane SD is reduced throughout the spectrum, the in-plane SD is approximately preserved. Both dStripe methods perform similarly, SS dStripe is slightly superior for data with larger residuals. n=44.
