MRI brain revealed findings suggestive of Wernicke encephalopathy with hyperintense lesions on FLAIR sequences in the periaqueductal gray and dorsomedial thalami (A, B) and restricted diffusion on DWI sequences in the periaqueductal gray and around the third ventricle (C, D).
